Regular direct trains from Milan take 1 hour 15 minutes.

Day 3 - Milan: Day Trip Idea - Pavia

A hidden gem, the town of Pavia is a delightful day trip from Milan, taking about 30 minutes by train. Pavia is known for its rich history, beautiful architecture, and academic heritage. Explore the stunning monastery located just outside the city and stroll through the charming streets, visiting sites like the Ponte Coperto bridge and Piazza della Vittoria. Pavia offers a rich blend of history, art, and culture, making it an ideal and accessible escape from Milan.

Day 4 - Lake Como: Activity Idea - Como

Transfer from your hotel in Milan to your hotel in Lake Como. Nestled at the southern tip of Lake Como, Como is a charming city that blends natural beauty, history, and Italian elegance. Set against the sparkling lake and the Alps, it offers a picturesque escape. The historic centre features cobblestone streets, medieval buildings, and the impressive Como Cathedral. For stunning views, take the funicular to Brunate. Como also boasts the elegant Villa Olmo, with its beautiful gardens, and the Museo Civico, which showcases the city’s history and art.

Often called the "Pearl of Lake Como," Bellagio is a picturesque town located at the junction where the lake splits into two branches. Known for its stunning beauty, elegant villas, and charming streets, it is one of the most popular destinations on Lake Como.
