Croatia

Brac

Holiday makers love its wonderful beaches, magnificent scenery and pretty seaside villages. Brac is Croatia’s largest island and the perfect destination for families and couples wanting to soak up the best the country has to offer. Brac offers a diverse landscape including pine-scented forests, crystal clear waters and rocky cliffs. The attractive town of Bol offers a livelier base including the famous Zlatni Rat beach, whilst the quaint village of Supetar is the perfect place to relax.

Croatia

Split

Croatia's second largest city with a 1,700 year history, Split remains one of the Adriatic's most fascinating ports and is an important link to many of the nearby islands. It is home to a wealth of museums and other cultural assets, including one of the world's most impressive Roman monuments, the Diocletian's Palace, a dramatic UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fine standard of quality accommodation along with the reliable Dalmatian sunshine ensures a Split holiday will be a memorable experience.

Croatia

Hvar

Hvar Town, the island's capital is the place to stay. Medieval walls surround the beautifully ornamented gothic palaces on the winding stone streets, while in the bay, luxury yachts dock near the stylish bars and cafes. The island is famed for its wealth of rocky coves, breath-taking beaches, extraordinary purple fields of lavender and heather, and shady pines that dot the island. Hvar Island is the perfect setting for a perfect escape.

Trogir

Day 5 & 6 - Split: Day Trip Idea - Krka National Park & Trogir

Covering 142 square metres, this is an area of outstanding natural beauty. It’s famous for its magnificent waterfalls, including the famous Skradinski Buk, a collection of 17 waterfalls that range in height of 45 metres. Easily accessible by coach or an organised excursion, it's a perfect day trip from Split. Day 2 - Split: Day Trip Idea - Trogir Another of Croatia’s UNESCO sites, Trogir is a very picturesque town, not far from Split, offering a rich history, plenty of culture and excellent food. This historic town evolved within its medieval city walls, on a small island connected by bridges to both the mainland and the island of Ciovo. Trogir is very easy to get to from Split.

Hvar

Day 7 - Hvar

Check out of your Split hotel and head to Hvar by catamaran, duration 1 hour. Check in to your chosen hotel in Hvar and spend the rest of your day relaxing by the pool or beach.

Hvar Old Town

Day 8 - Hvar: Explore Hvar Town

The atmospheric town is steeped in history and sites of interest include the ancient fortress, a Franciscan monastery and St. Stephen’s square, the largest and most beautiful Venetian piazza in Croatia. The bell of St. Stephen’s cathedral rises to four levels, each one more intricate than the last. North-west of the square, lies a labyrinth of charming streets with small palaces, churches and old Dalmatian houses. For superb views of the Adriatic and the Pakleni Islands, climb up to Hvar Fortress.

Korcula Old Town

Day 9 & 10 - Hvar: Day Trip Ideas - Korcula & Pakleni Islands

Renowned for being the reputed birthplace of Marco Polo, Korcula offers a rich history and excellent beaches. Its fascinating Old Town is of course a little smaller than Dubrovnik’s but is still a wonderful place to explore. You can easily get to Korcula from Hvar Town by fast catamaran. Every day between May and September it departs early morning and returns in the evening making a full day trip perfectly feasible. The islands opposite Hvar are the Pakleni islands, a stunning archipelago of tiny emerald isles, set in the glistening Adriatic. They’re a popular destination for beach goers with some of the best beaches in the area. There's numerous ferries to and from each day, most of which go to Palmizana Bay, where pine forests and heather fields provide the perfect backdrop to pristine waves licking the sandy cove.
